The table top is tempered glass providing a nice combination of solidity and lightness in glass itself. Tripot was designed especially for the Cooroy contemporary furniture exhibition 2004 and further develops previous coffee table made in W.A

This time I utilized modern technology laser cutting, ceramic pots and tempered glass as a structural element. The asymmetrical and triangular structure of the piece creates interesting interlocking patterns.

The three pots on the table each have a small wasps’ nest in them.

Pots are made by ceramics Tanja Gaher who says: "This Porcelaineous and naturally found clay series of vessels was based purely upon the spontaneous events which accompanied their creation "
